The Impact of Curriculum Design: Week 3 blog
Introduction
My poster or infographic below was designed in Canva and illustrates the ultimate goal of a curriculum design which is to improve students' learning. In chapter 5 of "How people learn II: Learners, contexts and culture" strategies on how to support learning was highlighted by means of retrieval of prior knowledge and information to assist students develop more sophisticated understanding of learning. Gura Part II then discusses the ideal environment needed for learning where technology is used as a tool for collaboration between students and other skills are developed in the learning process such as using technology to conduct research. Both Gura's and Chapter 5 "How people learn II: Learners, contexts and culture" with the use of technology can produce students who are innovative designers that are creative and produce original ideas with the use of technology.

Natasha,
ReplyDeleteGreat post about chapter 5, I like how you even included references (which I forgot to do). Additionally, I like how your infographic includes students in it. I think this gives greater context to the educator and allows us to see the messages that you are trying to convey more clearly. Lastly, your inclusion of technology was imaginative.
Thomas
I agree with Thomas, I think including pictures brings the poster to life, and very detailed. Good Work!
